The seeker awoke to the sounds of people moving around her, She sat up with a start as she recalled the Dream warnings. It was Cheera & Dirk packing for the next part of the journey.

The seeker started to realize that her quest was...

more filled with danger than she had imagined before.

The day progressed smothly as the trio made thier way up the seldom used mountain pass, just after mid day they rounded a bend that offered them a view of a cloud surrounded castle on the far peek.

Dirk turned to the ladies and said "There in the distance is the castle of the sorserer, We shall try to make it before darkness overtakes us and he can ....

hidden dangers, Cheera we need you to remember all of the tales and myths to know the right paths to take, and I shall use all of my skills as a woodsman to protect the seeker.

As all three drifted into themselves, realizing that to survive they needed to lean upon each other. Their eyes turned as one toward the castle ruins as they heard in the distance....

[Rogue Angel]

strange noises, unfamiliar to all 3 of them. There was a low rumbling that sounded almost like a growl, as if from some sort of large animal. Sounds of the underbrush collapsing under the weight of something heavy set the Seeker, Cheera, and Dirk on edge. They paused as if frozen, waiting patiently to see what lay in store for them up ahead. They grew even more tense and to the ready as small woodland animals began to rush past them... fleeing from whatever was closing the distance between itself, and the group.

Dirk adjusted his quill but drew his broad bladed sword, Cheera wiped her palms against her cloak as she took a firm grip on her oaken staff. There was no place to hide so they stood thier ground as an immence ogre crashed onto the pathway.
Dirk spoke softly "Seeker, very slowly start backing away, try to go back I'll try to stop this beast if I can."

But suddenly a flash of ice blue light radiated out from behind a small bolder, the Ogre seemed to be captured in its magic rays as he lifted up into the air and was flung away into the woods.

As the seeker turned toward the rocks a scraggley young man walked into the path. in his hand was a wand topped with a gemstone of blue. He bowed down and said "My name is Petyr, I am a great wizzard and I want to join your expedition."

The trio looked at one another and...

Started to laugh at the youth, dressed in dirty and patched robes.
You're not a Wizzard" Dirk said with a smile, "Your still wet behind the ears boy."
The youth spread out his arms and pointed a dirty hand toward Dirk, with a sudden motion Dirk seemed to freeze in place.
Petyr took a step foward and bowed to the ladies. As I was saying before this bore interupped me. I am a wizard, I have been studing with several Wizards from the Lowlands since I was just a babe. I have read and studied about this quest for years and when I saw the signs coming together, I knew I had to find the seeker and offer her my talents.
The Seeker replyed "Release your spell on Dirk and we shall discuss your joining us."
Without a backward glance Petyr gave a flick of the wrist and Dirk fell to the dusty path with a poof of dust rising around him.
Cheera helped Dirk to his feet and asked "Should we make camp and discuss our options?"
All Eyes turned to the seeker....

The Seeker looked toward the sun, "We still have several hours of daylight left, Petyr shall walk with us and try to make us understand why we should let a young wizard join our quest."

Cheera & Dirk exchanged glances and fell into step behind the seeker & petyr and listened as his tale unfolded...
